I had a bright and spacious room with excellent facilities in a central area close to charming shops, cafes, and a beautiful scenery.

The location was marvelous, just next door to a very pretty market town, excellent Bowes Museum and town center, and the free parking was an excellent bonus.

I even had the pleasure of being greeted with tea, coffee, and delicious homemade biscuits on arrival. The location was great, with plenty of nearby parking options. I highly recommend Baliol House for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Baliol House. The location was perfect, right in the heart of a charming town with plenty to see and do. The house itself was lovely, and our room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and they even accommodated our specific dietary needs. We did have to navigate some steep stairs, but it was manageable for us. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend staying here.
